The result of a prosperous google search, we arrived with pommie Mum and Dad at Broomhill Art Garden on a cold, wet December morning. With positive reviews on trip advisor and various websites, we were hopeful that the garden was good enough to warrant the 90 minute drive from Dorset.
It was worth the drive and I would happily do it again ten times over.
The tranquility of the space was breathtaking. We rambled through the lush woods forever halting in our tracks as each turn revealed a new wonder. Sometimes art, sometimes nature. And that is possibly the most extraordinary thing about Broomhill. How it plays host to what could be one of the most prefect representations of the balance between man made and mother nature.
We finished our ramble with a delicious ploughman's lunch in the hotel restaurant and left with vows to return again and again.
