Wedding bells were ringing. In the days leading up to xmas, we were honoured to have some of our favourite people The Northwoods return to the home land for catch ups and a wedding blessing. Appropriate I marked the occasion with a cake. Bottom layer is sticky date, the top moist lemon. Xmas time - Mistletoe and wine ....Beautiful Christmas this year - the best yet. We started a new tradition of splitting the courses between each family group. Above is the wow worthy BBQ turkey and roast veges made by Mum and our Cousin Shannon. Devine
After a successful two weeks of sewing and painting till paint and cotton could be found in unmentionable places, our reward was too two tickets to the Peats Ridge festival. Marvelous.

The Swan cometh. The goddess, a labour of love by Miss Lizzie continues to grow. Over the summer her crown has completed and her halo polished
Panna Cotta with love. Febs Daring Cooks challenge was Panna Cotta with Florentines. I added a little Valentines twist. The February 2011 Daring Bakers’ challenge was hosted by Mallory from A Sofa in the Kitchen. She chose to challenge everyone to make Panna Cotta from a Giada De Laurentiis recipe and Nestle Florentine Cookies.
Baby love. The Wards are expecting and the best way to commemorate was to make this comfy baby quilt. A challenge of patience but oh so worth while. Loved making this blankie. Good practise for my our own litlle lamb one day.
