The Lamb and I have always been fortunate enough to be surrounded by lots of wonderful kids. Between us we have 11 nephews and 3 nieces ranging from nearly 18 years to 4 months old.
This year we have entered the wonderful time where now our friends are having babies and thus very soon we may have to come to the realisation that the dawning of adulthood is approaching and we are kids no more. Well maybe.
To commemorate the arrival of the most recent bundle of joy to to come into this lucky world, I wanted to make something which would be practical, unique and simply stylish; just like her mother.

Using a old coffee sack, I cut a basic bag pattern. Then using a groovy bed sheet I'd found at the local charity shop, I cut the same pattern to form the lining.
The result a funky baby bag so big you could probably fit nappies, a change of clothes and the baby in it, yet at the same time so unique any new Mum will be sure to stand out from the pack
